Residential / Nami Satou Residence

This residential project was designed with the client's lifestyle and at-home business in mind. The aim was to develop a home that followed the principals of the client's Japanese heritage while incorporating various details of nature-inspired curves of the art nouveau style. By utilizing these elements in space planning and FF+E, a balanced space was created.
The main focus for the Satou Residence was to create an open plan that is suited for the client's business and designed to entertain her guests. Because the client's business is run from home, it was necessary that the public and private spaces be completed separated.
